AIM & BitGN Hackathon: Personal & Trustworthy Autonomous Agents
๐ค Build the Future of Agentic Autonomy

AI Tinkerers Vienna is supporting the AIM (AI Impact Mission) and BitGN community for the high-stakes finale of their hackathon on personal and trustworthy autonomous agents. This isnโt about building another wrapper; itโs about engineering agents that can reason, use tools effectively, and remain robust in the BitGN sandbox environment.
The API is now frozen. This means the infrastructure is set, and the focus shifts entirely to optimization, reasoning logic, and evaluation metrics. We are gathering the top practitioners in Vienna on April 11th to witness the final evaluations and crown the winners.
Space for the onsite finale is strictly limited to 200 attendees. Register above to join the local builder community for the final showdown.
โโโAnyone online can join, only the onsite place has limits.
๐ ๏ธ The Challenge: Reasoning Over Memorization
Participants are competing to build agents that solve complex tasks within the BitGN sandbox. The evaluation rewards agents that can handle:
- 20 Practice Tasks: Ranging from prompt injection defense to rumor detection.
- Runtime-Generated Scenarios: Tasks designed to fail if an agent relies on simple memorization rather than active reasoning.
- Live Leaderboard: Real-time performance tracking against a global community of builders.
If you are deep into agent orchestration frameworks like OpenClaw, experimenting with mid-thought steering in GPT-5.4, or optimizing KV cache with TurboQuant, this is the environment to test your stack.

โ๏ธ Judging & Prizes
We are looking for technical depth in architecture and reliability in execution. The onsite finale features a total prize pool of 500โฌ for the top-performing agents.
๐ค Partners for the AIM Hackthon
This event is made possible by organizations committed to the โbuilders-firstโ ethos of AI Tinkerers.
AIM (AI Impact Mission) is a pan-European community and non-profit association focused on ethical AI adoption. They serve as a bridge between high-impact research and practical deployment, specializing in RAG systems and agentic workflows.
BitGN provides the specialized infrastructure for benchmarking autonomous agents. Their sandbox environment allows developers to validate agent performance against real-world scenarios and security threats.
